On Saturday, June 14, CFE partnered with the Kelowna Flying Club to host Discovery Aviation 2025, a free introductory flight experience for participants aged 8 and up. Hosted at the Kelowna International Airport, just steps from CFE, the event offered ground school sessions, safety briefings, and free flights in small aircraft-with preference for youth under 19 – alongside a certificate of accomplishment.
Educating Through Experience
Each participate received expert instruction from COPA-member pilots, providing immersive and inspiring aviation exposure. CFE complemented this by promoting its interactive museum and exhibits as a post-flight destination.
