The KF Centre for Excellence was honoured to host the British Columbia Aviation Council (BCAC) Signature Dinner during the BCAC 2026 Conference in Kelowna at the end of May.

The annual conference brought together aviation and aerospace professionals from across BC to discuss the opportunities, challenges, and future of the industry. As part of the conference, the Signature Dinner welcomed delegates to the KF Centre for an evening of networking and celebration within one of Canada’s most unique aviation venues.

Guests had the opportunity to explore the Centre’s exhibits and aircraft collection while connecting with industry leaders representing airports, airlines, aerospace organizations, educational institutions, government agencies, and aviation businesses from across the province.

Hosting events like the BCAC Signature Dinner reinforces the KF Centre for Excellence’s role as a gathering placed for aviation professionals, industry leaders, and organizations working to advance aerospace in the Okangan.

“The aviation industry thrives on collaboration, innovation, and shared knowledge,” said Chris Lapointe, Executive Director of the KF Centre for Excellence. “We were proud to welcome BC Aviation Council members and conference delegates to the Centre and provide a space where meaningful connections could take place.”

The BC Aviation Council has supported British Columbia’s aviation and aerospace community since 1938 and continues to bring together industry professionals through conferences, networking events, scholarships, and advocacy initiatives.
