We were honoured to host the 2026 BC First Nations Forestry Conference this week in Kelowna, welcoming First Nations leaders, forestry professionals, educators, and industry partners from across British Columbia.
As a facility built with mass timber construction, the Centre provided a fitting backdrop for conversations focused on stewardship, sustainability, innovation, and the future of forestry in BC.
Throughout the conference, attendees experienced the building’s exposed timber design, including the Centre’s signature helical staircase and cross-laminated timber structure, showcasing the strength and beauty of wood in modern construction.
A sincere thank you to the BC First Nations Forestry Council, conference organizers, speakers, exhibitors, and attendees for choosing the KF Centre for Excellence as the host venue for this important gathering.
We look forward to welcoming everyone back again soon.
