Entire Facility
The KF Centre for Excellence is a striking architectural landmark shaped like an aircraft wing and built with sustainably sourced BC timber that gives the space its signature warmth. As you explore the photos, you’ll see the building’s sweeping wood structure, expansive windows, and the iconic helical self-supporting staircase that anchors the lobby. The facility brings together modern design, aviation heritage, and panoramic views of the Kelowna Airport, creating a unique setting for events, tours, and visitor experiences.
Event Hall
Our 10,000 sq. ft. Event Hall offers a bright, open space that can be transformed for banquets, conferences, trade shows, receptions, and more. The gallery highlights its flexible layout, easy flow into the F-Bar Café and Library, and the elevated catwalk views into both aircraft hangars. Guests can also step onto the Observation Deck to watch flights arriving and departing from the Kelowna Airport. With space for up to 300 people and access via the helical staircase or elevator, the Event Hall is a versatile backdrop for unforgettable gatherings.
F Bar Cafe
The F-Bar Café is a modern, second-floor bistro space with an adjacent Observation Deck overlooking the YLW runway and surrounding Okanagan mountains. The photos highlight its bright interior, flexible seating, refurbished first-class aviation chairs, and private bar area, ideal for receptions and intimate gatherings. The F-Bar Café offers a relaxed, aviation-inspired atmosphere that complements any event.
Meeting Rooms
The Centre offers both a Boardroom and Meeting Room, each providing a professional, aviation-themed setting for small gatherings and strategic discussions. The boardroom table crafted from Convair aircraft wing, along with modern presentation technology and convenient access near Reception. An additional meeting room upstairs adds flexibility and can serve as a breakout space, staging room, or event support area. Together, these spaces offer a comfortable and fully equipped environment for focused meetings and seamless event operations.
